Brace yourself for a day full of adventure. On this expedition you get to experience Nova Scotia by land and by sea. We spend the first half of the day hiking in the coastal barrens near Polly's Cove where we get a 360 degree panoramic view of Peggy's Cove and the surrounding area. The second half of our adventure takes place on the water in the beautiful St Margaret's Bay. Kayaking through the bay we will explore the many islands and maybe even get the chance to encounter some playful whales or curious seals.

Although we don't travel much by foot on this expedition it is packed full of great sights. We will be driving through the Cobequid Hills and along the way we will explore 3 waterfalls, 2 gorges and 2 parks. You will need a good sturdy pair of hiking shoes for this tour. We cover a lot of ground on our way to the incredible sight of Cape Split, where the land has separated itself from the peninsula due to the forces of the Bay of Fundy, home to the highest tides in the world. Also on this tour we get the opportunity to see Cape Split from Baxter's Harbour across the Bay of Fundy. Don't forget to pack your camera as we will view the valley from up above where eagles are often seen soaring overhead. Blomidon offers great scenery where 300 foot red cliffs tower over a beautiful beach.

Sit back, kick your feet up and enjoy the ride. That's what the first part of this expedition is all about, as we will be tubing down the Gaspereau River. Don't be startled if we pass by cattle feasting on the long grass beside the river. The Gaspereau Valley is known for its lush forest, rolling hills and pleasant wine. So why don't we indulge in a little wine tasting at the Gaspereau Winery. After all this relaxing we take a short hike to Dawson Brook Falls for a chance to take some memorable photos.
