Brace yourself for a day full of adventure. On this expedition you get to experience Nova Scotia by land and by sea. We spend the first half of the day hiking in the coastal barrens near Polly's Cove where we get a 360 degree panoramic view of Peggy's Cove and the surrounding area. The second half of our adventure takes place on the water of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Kayaking along the coast we will explore many coves and islands and maybe even get the chance to encounter some playful whales or curious seals.

Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995, Lunenburg is one of the premier places to visit when traveling to Nova Scotia. With a rich history, unique architecture and brightly colored houses, this quaint little ocean side town will leave a lasting impression on you. Later we venture to Hirtle Beach where our spectacular hike to Gaff Point begins. Our travels take us through a coastal forest and barren land as well as a number of coves where high rugged cliffs drop to the sea. A perfect place to spot whales playing off the Atlantic coast. The last part of our day we take a short hike to The Ovens sea caves. Taking the stairs down to sea level to hear the thunderous roar of crashing waves which make there way into the caves.

This trail has been said to be one of the most picturesque coastal day hikes in Eastern North America and for good reason. The trails hugs the coastline which runs through breathtaking natural habitats with various geological features. These various habitats make up a perfect environment to an abundance of flora and wildlife. Arriving at Taylor's Head we are rewarded with a captivating view from the rugged peninsula which is continually pounded by wind and waves, making for great photo opportunities and an intense ocean vista. To end the day we get some rest and relaxation on a majestic white sand beach, so don't forget your swimwear.

Hiking the Rogart Mountain trail we travel through a mixed growth forest packed full of great sights. We will drive through the Cobequid Hills and along the way we will explore a number of waterfalls and lush forests. Don't think that's it though as we will get the chance to see the various sandpipers that feed along the shores of the Bay of Fundy. With so much beauty in one day it's possible you may not want to go back home.

You will need a good sturdy pair of hiking shoes for this tour. We cover a lot of ground on our way to the incredible sight of Cape Split, where the land has separated itself from the peninsula due to the forces of the Bay of Fundy, home to the highest tides in the world. Also on this tour we get the opportunity to see Cape Split from Baxter's Harbour across the Bay of Fundy. Don't forget to pack your camera as we will view the valley from up above where eagles are often seen soaring overhead. Blomidon offers great scenery where 300 foot red cliffs tower over a beautiful beach.
